Motorola has done something unusual ahead of the Edge 70 Pro+ launch it has revealed almost every single hardware detail before the phone even goes on sale. The complete specifications appeared on Motorola India's official website and Flipkart ahead of the June 4, 2026 launch date, leaving only the price as the final unknown. The Edge 70 Pro+ is essentially an upgraded version of the Edge 70 Pro that launched globally in April 2026. The standard Edge 70 Pro launched on April 22 in India at approximately ₹41,999 and is available internationally as the Edge 70 Pro. The Pro+ variant adds two significant upgrades over the base model a periscope telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom and 15W wireless charging while keeping the same core platform. For buyers who want the complete camera system and wireless charging flexibility, the Pro+ is the version to consider.

It supports HDR10+, Pantone-certified 10-bit colour, Motorola's Water Touch technology for wet-finger responsiveness, and SGS certifications for reduced blue light and motion blur. An in-display fingerprint scanner handles biometric authentication.

Despite revealing virtually every hardware detail before launch, Motorola has held back the one piece of information most buyers want: what it costs. The standard Edge 70 Pro launched at ₹41,999 in India. Given the Pro+'s additions of a periscope telephoto, 15W wireless charging, and the more complete triple-camera system, a price somewhere between ₹45,000 and ₹55,000 is a reasonable expectation. The official pricing will be confirmed at the June 4 launch event.
Is It Worth Considering Over the Galaxy A57 5G?
The direct Samsung comparison at this price point is the Galaxy A57 5G at $550.
