Xiaomi is bringing its most premium television lineup yet to India, and the wait is almost over. The Xiaomi TV FX Mini LED Series will officially launch in India on June 4, 2026, alongside the Xiaomi 17T smartphone. Ahead of the launch, Xiaomi has made the dedicated microsite live on mi.com and confirmed several key hardware and software details about the upcoming lineup.
What Makes the FX Mini LED Series Different
The Xiaomi TV FX Mini LED Series is positioned as a step up from Xiaomi's existing Fire TV LED lineup, and the primary reason for that positioning is the display technology underneath. Unlike standard LED televisions that use edge lighting, the FX Mini LED Series uses Full-Array Mini LED backlighting meaning thousands of microscopic LEDs are placed directly behind the entire screen panel rather than around its edges. This allows specific zones of the screen to be dimmed or brightened independently, which translates to noticeably deeper blacks, brighter highlights, and far better contrast ratios than edge-lit displays can produce.
The technology first appeared in Xiaomi's TV S Mini LED Series and is now making its way into the company's Fire TV lineup for the first time, giving Indian buyers who prefer Amazon's ecosystem access to the same display hardware previously only available on Xiaomi's Google TV models.
Quantum MagiQ Xiaomi's Scene-by-Scene Processing Engine
Alongside the Mini LED hardware, Xiaomi is featuring its Quantum MagiQ processing engine as a core part of the FX Mini LED experience. The engine handles image processing on a scene-by-scene basis, adjusting contrast, colour reproduction, and motion handling in real time depending on what is on screen. The result is intended to deliver consistent picture quality across different types of content dark cinematic scenes, bright sports broadcasts, and fast-moving gameplay without the viewer needing to manually switch picture modes.
Xiaomi also claims reduced input latency through the Quantum MagiQ system, which benefits gaming directly. The television includes an HDMI 2.1 port with Auto Low Latency Mode and a 120Hz game boost setting, making it a practical option for console gamers who want responsive performance without dedicating a separate gaming monitor to the setup.
Fire TV Built In Amazon's Ecosystem at the Centre
Rather than Google TV, the Xiaomi TV FX Mini LED Series runs on Amazon's Fire TV operating system. Fire TV gives users access to over 12,000 apps through the Amazon Appstore, with direct integration of Prime Video, Netflix, Disney+ Hotstar, and every other major streaming service available in India. Alexa is built in as the primary voice assistant, accessible directly through the remote control for hands-free content search, smart home control, and general voice queries.
The decision to use Fire TV instead of Google TV differentiates the FX Mini LED Series from Xiaomi's S Mini LED lineup, which uses Google TV. For buyers already invested in Amazon's ecosystem — Prime membership, Echo devices, or Alexa routines the Fire TV integration makes the FX Mini LED the more natural fit.
Audio: Quad-Speaker Setup With Dedicated Tweeters
The larger models in the FX Mini LED lineup feature a quad-speaker setup consisting of full-range drivers and two dedicated tweeters. Xiaomi has not disclosed the total wattage output ahead of the June 4 launch, but the quad-speaker configuration with dedicated high-frequency drivers is designed to deliver clearer dialogue, better treble detail, and more room-filling audio than the single or dual-speaker setups found in most televisions at comparable price points.
Hardware Internals
The FX Mini LED Series runs on a quad-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The storage capacity allows a comfortable number of apps and downloaded content to be kept locally without constantly managing space. Display resolution across the lineup is 4K, and the panels support 120Hz refresh rates across most sizes. HDR support details and the full size lineup will be confirmed at the June 4 launch event.
Pricing and Availability
Xiaomi has not announced pricing for the FX Mini LED Series ahead of the June 4 launch. Given that the lineup is positioned above Xiaomi's regular Fire TV LED models and uses Full-Array Mini LED technology, a premium over the standard Fire TV lineup is expected. Full pricing, available sizes, and sale details will be confirmed at the launch event on June 4.
