Samsung has started pushing the stable One UI 8.5 update to the Galaxy A15 in South Korea, making it one of the latest budget Galaxy devices to receive the Android 16-based software.

What Is New
The update brings One UI 8.5 to the Galaxy A15 for the first time. Key additions include a refreshed interface with transparent blur effects, a floating bottom bar design in first-party apps, a more customizable Quick Panel, partial screen recording, Apple AirDrop support via Quick Share, new camera filters, and improved battery management. After installing, Samsung apps on the device can also be updated to their latest versions through the Galaxy Store.
How to Get the Update
Go to Settings, then Software update, then Download and install. Given the 2.4GB file size, a Wi-Fi connection is recommended before starting the download. The update is currently live in South Korea, with a global rollout expected to follow in the coming days.
