Samsung Galaxy A25 One UI 8.5 Update Is Now Rolling Out Globally

Good news for Galaxy A25 owners outside South Korea — Samsung has officially started pushing the stable One UI 8.5 update to global markets.

Samsung had initially released the stable One UI 8.5 update for the Galaxy A25 only in South Korea. Now the company has started expanding the rollout to other regions, with Turkey among the first countries to receive it.

Update Details

Detail Info
Firmware Version A256EXXUCEZE6
Update Size 2,731.31 MB (~2.73 GB)
First Global Region Turkey
Android Version Android 16

What's New in One UI 8.5

This is not a minor patch. One UI 8.5 brings a refreshed user interface with transparent blur effects and a floating design for bottom bars in first-party apps. On the feature side, users get a more customizable Quick Panel, direct voicemail, partial screen recording, support for Apple AirDrop, new filters in the Camera app, and pollen information in the Weather app, among other additions.

How to Get the Update

Samsung is rolling this out in stages, so not everyone will see it at the same time. To check manually, go to Settings → Software update → Download and install. Make sure you are connected to Wi-Fi before downloading, given the 2.73GB file size.

More countries are expected to receive the update over the coming days.
