Samsung has started rolling out the One UI 8.5 update for the Galaxy A54 in select European countries as of June 4, 2026, following its initial launch in South Korea the previous week. Key new features include a redesigned frosted glass Quick Panel with freely resizable toggles, new lock screen clock fonts and an automatic layout that adapts around wallpaper subjects, system-wide Liquid Glass animations, improved Bixby with chat history and natural conversation support, film-style camera filters, and a redesigned Weather app featuring a Pollen Index. The update is based on Android 16 and represents the Galaxy A54's fourth major OS upgrade since launching in March 2023.
