Vivo V70 Lite Goes Official With Dimensity 7400 Turbo and 90W Charging

Vivo has quietly launched the V70 Lite in the UAE, adding a new entry to its mid-range V series lineup without much of a formal announcement. The phone is a measured upgrade over the V60 Lite, with one key hardware change at its core and a familiar spec sheet everywhere else.

What's New Over the V60 Lite

The headline upgrade is the chipset. The V70 Lite runs on MediaTek's Dimensity 7400 Turbo, replacing the Dimensity 7360 found in the V60 Lite. The difference between the two is modest the Dimensity 7400 Turbo's ARM Cortex-A78 performance cores are clocked at 2.6 GHz versus 2.5 GHz on the outgoing chip but it is a step forward nonetheless. RAM remains at 8GB LPDDR4X, and storage options are 128GB and 256GB, both using UFS 3.1.

Full Specifications

The V70 Lite sports a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits solid numbers for its price bracket. An optical in-display fingerprint scanner handles biometric security, and a 32MP selfie camera sits inside the punch-hole cutout at the top.

On the back, a 50MP Sony IMX882 main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture handles primary photography duties, supported by an 8MP ultra-wide lens. The 6,500mAh battery with 90W wired charging is one of the more compelling specs at this price point that combination of capacity and charging speed is not common under $300. Software is OriginOS 6, based on Android 16.
