Samsung One UI 8.5 Update List: Every Galaxy Phone and Tablet That Got It

Samsung has completed the One UI 8.5 rollout for all 44 confirmed eligible Galaxy devices. The rollout began on May 6 in South Korea, expanded globally on May 11, and finished with the Galaxy A15 receiving the update in early June. Here is the complete confirmed list of every Samsung Galaxy phone and tablet that received One UI 8.5.

What Is One UI 8.5

One UI 8.5 is Samsung's mid-cycle feature update built on Android 16, sitting between One UI 8.0 and the upcoming One UI 9. It debuted pre-installed on the Galaxy S26 series at launch on March 11 and has since rolled out to older Galaxy devices via over-the-air updates. The update delivers a complete visual overhaul, a deeply rebuilt Bixby AI, Call Screening, Advanced Audio Eraser, Quick Share compatibility with Apple devices, Theft Protection, and the full Galaxy AI suite for supported hardware.

How to Get the Update on Your Device

Open Settings on your Galaxy device, tap Software update, then tap Download and install. If the update is available for your region it will appear immediately. Samsung rolls out updates in waves across different countries, so checking every few days is the most reliable approach if nothing appears right away.

Key Things to Know

Samsung completed the full rollout to all 44 confirmed devices with the Galaxy A15 being the last to receive it. An additional 10 devices that were not originally on the confirmed list also received the update. Galaxy AI features including Call Screening, Advanced Audio Eraser, and agentic Bixby require higher-end NPU hardware and are available in full on Galaxy S and Z series devices. Mid-range and budget A, M, and F series devices receive the Awesome Intelligence tier, which includes a curated selection of AI features suited to their hardware.
