Samsung has ended its seven year built-in OneDrive integration inside Samsung Gallery, with the option already removed from newer app versions ahead of the official September 30, 2026 deadline. Galaxy users now need an alternative cloud backup solution. Samsung Cloud offers the most seamless native experience with full device restore capability, starting at 15GB free. Google Photos is the best free option for photo and video backup with strong AI organisation, also starting at 15GB free. OneDrive can still be used through its standalone app by enabling Camera backup manually. Google Drive covers document and mixed file backup. Dropbox is best for cross-platform and business users. pCloud offers a lifetime payment option starting at $199 for 500GB. Most Galaxy users should use Google Photos for media backup and Samsung Cloud for full device backup together.
