Apple A19 Pro scores 3,895 single-core and 9,746 multi-core in Geekbench 6. Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 scores approximately 3,920 single-core and 12,208 multi-core. Single-core performance is now essentially equal between the two chips for the first time. A multi-core gap of 22% favors Snapdragon, partly explained by its two additional CPU cores. AnTuTu scores are not cross-platform comparable due to different APIs on iOS and Android. GPU performance is competitive with Snapdragon reaching higher peak scores and Apple maintaining better efficiency. The A19 Pro sustains performance under load more consistently with less thermal throttling. Apple leads in performance-per-watt despite lower peak clock speeds. The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 leads in raw multi-threaded and peak GPU output. Neither chip represents a limitation for everyday smartphone use.
